This mid-range safari was incredible! The Serengeti game drives and Materuni Waterfalls hike were highlights, and the group vibe was fantastic.

Ngorongoro Crater was a bucket-list experience, and the Materuni coffee tour was a great cultural touch. Great value for a budget safari!

Depart early from Arusha in a shared 4x4 safari vehicle and drive through the beautiful highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy en-route game viewing as you enter the park, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive. Spot herds of wildebeests, zebras, lions, elephants, and more in the endless plains.
Start with an early morning shared game drive in the Serengeti to catch predators in action, including the seasonal Great Migration (July-September). Continue exploring the Serengeti ecosystem before heading toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the late afternoon.
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day shared game drive. The crater hosts an abundance of wildlife, including the rare black rhino. After lunch by the hippo pool, drive back to Arusha for an overnight stay or continue to Moshi (optional).
After breakfast, head to the lush village of Materuni at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Hike through the forest with your group to reach the stunning Materuni Waterfalls and enjoy a local coffee-making tour with the Chagga community. Later, transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
