6 Day Tanzania Luxury Lodge Safari 2026-2027

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro → Tarangire National Park

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide. After a short briefing, you will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. This safari takes you into a landscape known for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife diversity.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy your first game drive, giving you the chance to spot elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and more. As the sun sets, you will check in at your luxury lodge, where you can relax and take in beautiful views of the park.

Day 2: Tarangire → Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will set out for a final morning game drive in Tarangire, giving you another opportunity to witness its remarkable wildlife. Later, your safari continues as you drive towards Lake Manyara National Park.

Lake Manyara offers you the chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions, huge troops of baboons, and the shimmering soda lake dotted with flamingos. The park’s lush groundwater forest and dramatic rift valley escarpment create a completely different atmosphere from the previous day.

Day 3: Lake Manyara → Serengeti National Park

Today, your journey takes you to the legendary Serengeti National Park. You will drive through the scenic highlands before descending onto the endless plains, with game viewing opportunities along the way.

As you enter the Serengeti, you will be welcomed by sweeping grasslands filled with wildlife. You may spot cheetahs, leopards, lions, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras depending on the season. After an enriching game drive, you will check into your luxury accommodation inside the park.

Day 4: Full-Day Exploration of Serengeti National Park

You will spend this full day exploring the Serengeti, one of the most diverse wildlife ecosystems in the world. Depending on the Wildebeest Migration movement, you may visit either the central or northern region of the park.

You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, giving you the chance to witness predators in action, massive herds of grazers, and breathtaking Serengeti landscapes. If you wish to elevate your experience, you can opt for a sunrise hot air balloon safari (additional $599 per person) followed by a champagne breakfast in the wild.

Day 5: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti as you make your way towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This route offers excellent wildlife viewing, especially big cats and large herbivores.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders. The views from your lodge will be a highlight of your luxury safari experience.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour → Departure

This morning, you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for one of the most rewarding wildlife experiences in Africa. The crater floor is home to incredible concentrations of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, and countless bird species.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, surrounded by the crater’s stunning landscapes. In the afternoon, your guide will drive you back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable luxury safari.
