You will be picked up from your hotel or lodge in Arusha around 7:00–7:30 AM after breakfast. Your safari begins with a scenic 45–60 minute drive to Arusha National Park in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for excellent wildlife viewing. Upon arrival, enjoy a morning game drive where you can spot giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, zebras, baboons, and a wide variety of birds. Explore areas around Momella Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater viewpoint, with the magnificent Mount Meru providing a stunning backdrop. Mid-morning to early afternoon, take a private guided walking safari (2–4 hours) with an armed ranger. Stroll through serene forest trails, encounter black-and-white colobus monkeys up close, visit waterfalls, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings (subject to ranger approval and weather conditions). After the walk, relax with a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park. In the afternoon, continue with more flexible game viewing by vehicle at your own pace, giving you plenty of opportunities for photography and wildlife observation. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha with a drop-off at your accommodation around 5:00–6:00 PM, concluding a memorable day in Arusha National Park.
